This work package consists of the Online Toolkit, the Living Lab in Jordan, and the Roadmap for Reference Region, which altogether include innovative pedagogical approaches to empower local communities as advocates for preserving and showcasing their natural and cultural heritage. WP3 aims to equip them with the knowledge and skills to promote environmental protection, preserve traditional activities, and integrate new sustainable practices beneficial to both the environment and residents.
[;en]This work package consists of 3 main results: existing green strategies and policies for the mountain areas, real approaches as applied to critical mountain area preservations, and suggestions for the protection and preservation of the relevant mountain areas. Its main objective is to support the consortium partners to organize, learn how to use, diffuse, push forward, and exploit in the best possible way the usage of the PeakED Living Labs results.
Intercultural Youth Camps are organized in each partner country, inviting public authorities and stakeholders to collaboratively innovate sustainable mountain area preservation and management. These camps aim to foster a more open and collaborative approach to governance, enhancing the effectiveness and legitimacy of decisions. WP5 aims to establish a network of local Living Labs and experiment with this approach for mountain sustainability, fostering co-creation and reciprocal learning for the development of implementable energy plans.
